Financial Controller / Financial Analyst 

(based in Warsaw)  

Opportunity to work in a fast-growing business with a strong need for solid finance function. Join us, take the chance to cooperate closely with CFO and share with your experience in reporting and analysis areas to support our finance processes.  

YOUR ACTIVITIES

  • Deliver and maintain periodical reports and data analyses - ensuring accurate and timely reporting  
  • Prepare monthly financial results analysis – identify key drivers to the business, evaluate efficiency of business units, providing commentary to the management 
  • Participate in the budgeting process and long-term planning 
  • Analyse cash and net working capital 
  • Lead forecasting process (P&L and cash flow) 
  • Ensure a smooth and efficient run of month end process 
  • Support statutory consolidation process 
  • Report and analyse sales results 
  • Cooperate with the accounting team and suppliers of the ERP system 
  • Carry out ad-hoc analyses & financial modelling to support decision-making (new projects, fully loaded costs, profitability analysis, price modelling, commission models etc.) 

WHAT WE EXPECT

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in reporting, financial analysis/controlling, including at least 2 years in a service company (preferably an IT company) 
  • Good English, both written and spoken, is essential (English is the main business language in our company), expected level at least B2/C1 
  • University qualification, preferably in Finance & Accounting 
  • Very good understanding of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statement structure 
  • Experience in assessment of profitability of projects/ initiatives 
  • Experience in building/ maintenance/ development of complex Excel models 
  • Good communication and coordination skills preferably gained in a multi-unit corporate structure 
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving orientation 
  • Strong attention to detail, high level of accuracy, well-organized, structured approach to work 
  • Focus not only on numbers but also on the business context behind the numbers 
  • Orientation to work with strict deadlines 
  • Very good knowledge of Excel 
  • Knowledge of ERP systems 
  • Knowledge of SQL, Power BI (or other BI tool), Salesforce is a plus
